The Nehemiah Principle
One of the most influential stories in my life comes from the biblical account of Nehemiah. When looking at what was broken, he chose to envision what could be rebuilt.

Gloom, Doom, & Surviving the Streets
My story didn't begin with success, stages, coaching, or leadership. It began with brokenness. I was raised without my biological father and grew up in a home where abuse, fear, and instability were part of everyday life. My stepfather abused our family, creating wounds and mental trauma that shaped how I viewed myself, other people, and the world around me. At an early age, I learned to expect the worst. Gloom and doom became the lens through which I saw life.
Like many people carrying unresolved pain, I began looking for answers in all the wrong places. I turned to the streets. I became involved in gangs, sold drugs, and battled heavy addiction. I made choices driven by pain, anger, survival, and a desperate belief that there had to be something more than the life I was living.

Not Religion. Not Rules. Jesus.
Everything changed when I encountered Jesus Christ. Not religion. Not rules. Not traditions. Just Jesus. For the first time, I discovered that my past did not have to define my future. I learned that I wasn't a mistake, I wasn't forgotten, and I wasn't limited by where I came from. Through Christ, I found hope, purpose, healing, and a completely different way to live.
As I grew in my faith, I realized that simply attending church wasn't enough. I wanted to understand why God's principles worked. I wanted to understand how faith connected to everyday life, leadership, relationships, business, purpose, and personal growth. That led me on a deeper journey to understand the Kingdom of God.
A Renewed Mind & Active Ministry
What I discovered transformed everything. I learned that God doesn't just want to rescue people from their past; He wants to teach them how to build a different future. I learned that His principles create clarity where there is confusion, purpose where there is wandering, and direction where there is uncertainty. I learned that lasting transformation begins with a renewed mind.
As my mindset changed, my life changed. The same person who once struggled with addiction and destructive choices became a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, speaker, coach, author, mentor, and leader committed to helping others discover what is possible when they align their thinking with God's truth.
